Vertical Rope & Handstands
Stina Otterström is a vertical rope artist who also stays on her hands.
She uses her wide knowledge of the aerial acrobatics and pushes the boundaries of her body to create innovative and surprising choreographies.
During her studies in DOCH (university of Dans and Circus, Stockholm, also called SKH) she trained handstands as a second discipline as well as flexibility. This allowed her to explore the freedom of the floor and it gave her the opportunity to perform in different spaces (without rigging point).
Since the first time she was on stage, when she was 4, she has been experimenting with a large scale of characters that she can use to transmit a big variety of emotions to the audience.
